MINIMALLY INVASIVE RESTORATION + ADHESION. (Teórico + hands on)

A five-day module each comprising a theoretical part and a hands-on part.


COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Upgrade and expand basic concepts regarding adhesion.
  • Develop the concepts of adhesion and minimally invasive dentistry with a view to establishing step-by-step protocols and treatment plans regarding restoration treatments for patients with dental wear.
  • Become familiar with adhesive restoration and materials; prepless inlays and veneers, preparation and bonding protocols with the laboratory, importance of dental photography, and notifying the technician of the colour.

DAYS 26,27 and 28 (from 09:30 to 18:00)

  • Concepts of a Complex Treatment Plan. Handling the Vertical Dimension..
  • Bases for diagnostic Wax-ups and Mock Ups (hands On).
  • Restoration in patients with dental wear.
  • Updated information on materials used in restoration treatments.
  • Isolation workshop.
  • Concepts governing Adhesive Dentistry.
  • Inlays. Theory and Hands-on.

DAYS 29 AND 30 (from 09:30 to 18:00)

  • Patient rehabilitation using minimally invasive treatment (Theory).
  • Veneers, non-prepless, and No Prep (hands On).
  • Bonding Protocol (hands On).
  • Communicating with the technician, dental photography and colour.
  • Conclusions.
